2013 Fall Bucket List

This fall, I want to cherish each day! I’ve gathered some of my favorite ideas for enjoying this beautiful season:

1.       Create a new door wreath with fall flowers and ribbons
2.       Invite friends over for chili night
3.       Carve/decorate a pumpkin
4.       Go on a hayride
5.       Try the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte
6.       Enjoy a family bike ride
7.       Capture breath-taking views from on top of Vulcan
8.       Take Mila to the Red Mountain Dog Park
9.       Make my Halloween outfit
10.   Tailgate before a football game with friends
11.   Visit the pumpkin patch
12.   Create a Thankful Tree
13.   Collect pine cones and create a beautiful garland
14.   Decorate the mantel with fall leaves and twigs.
15.   Volunteer at a local soup kitchen
16.   Roast pumpkin seeds
17.   Make a pumpkin pies
18.   Visit a corn maze!
19.   Go on a picnic
20.   Go camping and make S’mores
21.   Make caramel/candy apples
22.  Clean out old summer clothes
23.   Make football cupcakes
24.   Attend a fall festival with fun games, crafts, and prizes!
25.   Read a novel
26.   Make crockpot apple cider… mmmm, I bet this smells so good!
27.   Jump in leaf piles and take lots of photos!
28.   Bob for apples!
29.   Bake candy corn sugar cookies
30.   Continue the tradition of the 22 Thankful Days
31.   Start my Christmas shopping
32.   Enjoy a bonfire with friends and family
33.   Pull out the sweaters, wash them up, and anticipate the coziness to come!
34.   Make caramel corn
35.   Watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”
36.   …. or, watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown“
37.   Go for an early morning walk and watch the sun rise on a cool, crisp day
38.   Go on a day trip
39.   Host a fall popcorn buffet
40.   Gaze at the stars
41.   Create acorn-filled mason jar candle holders
42.   Make a huge pot of homemade soup and enjoy your cozy home
43.   Visit a craft show with friends
44.   Bring out the pumpkin or apple candles
45.   Take a photo with Jimmy with falling leaves
46.   Did someone say “Crockpot Baked Apples“? Yes, please!
47.   Stay out late and watch the harvest moon
48.   Decorate the front porch for fall
49.   Make homemade applesauce in the crockpot
50.   Create a beautiful fall centerpiece
